Our Reason
Founded in August 2023, the Emersynn Isla Shining Star Foundation was inspired by Emersynn, our little shining star, who brought joy and light to everyone around her. We are committed to making a positive impact supporting children and their families. Through our work, we honor Emersynn's memory by spreading love and kindness. We believe that every child deserves to shine like the star they are!
Our Vision
Creating a world where children facing an incurable diagnosis receive the compassionate care, financial support, and emotional strength they need, ensuring they and their families experience comfort, dignity, and hope throughout their journey.
A Letter from the Kaintz Family
As parents of a child who received a life-limiting diagnosis, we recognize the arduous and unpredictable journey that may lie ahead. Feelings of sadness, confusion, anger, and loneliness can be overwhelming, as well as future financial concerns. We are committed to helping you and your child feel loved, supported, and comforted during an otherwise challenging time.
In addition to the above, we also understand the pain and grief of losing a child. We dedicate memorial stars if you are experiencing the unimaginable. A gentle gift to grieving families - the opportunity to have a shining light in the sky that symbolizes your precious child.
Today we find solace sharing the brilliance of Emersynn's spirit and ensuring that her light continues shining by supporting others walking similar paths.
